It’s no secret that Red Roses and Petrol’s Catherine Farrell (Helen) is the elder sister of actor Colin Farrell, but we have been wondering if the talented woman has been hiding something else. Perhaps more of her own unique abilities? Curious where she’s been since making Red Roses and Petrol? The Dublin-born performer has been focusing her career behind the camera. Having worked as a production assistant on independent films in the late 90s, Ms. Farrell continued to explore similar opportunities. She served as an apprentice editor on Intolerable Cruelty (2003) and went on to work as a post-production coordinator for the Coen brothers on The Ladykillers (2004) and on their recent Oscar-winner, No Country for Old Men (2007). However, after revisiting her wonderful performance in Red Roses and Petrol, we’re hoping that Helen’s portrayer will consider moving back in front of the camera.
