Red Roses and Petrol’s opening celebration in Los Angeles was a huge success! Hosted by World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation and attended by the movie’s cast, producers, friends, and supporters, the party was held in a private room at McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant in Beverly Hills. While members of the press were interviewing the talent, a bagpiper entertained invited guests and the ladies were given long-stemmed red roses to commemorate the occasion. Special thanks go to the numerous members of the Los Angeles chapter of the Emerald Society who not only came out to support the movie’s opening, but also attended the party looking spectacular in their kilts! Because pictures are worth a thousand words, we just had to share a few!
Red Roses and Petrol’s Los Angeles opening celebration is here, and according to the RSVP list, it’s going to be a packed house! Joining the World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation staff and board members Friday night will be friends, family, the international press, industry executives, paparazzi, a bagpipe player representing the Los Angeles chapter of The Emerald Society, and oh yes… the cast! Reported to be attending are Malcolm McDowell, Olivia Tracey, Heather Juergensen, Greg Ellis, Aubrey Morris, and Robert Easton. We will also be looking forward to some words from the film’s beloved director, Tamar Simon Hoffs, and WWMPC President/CEO, Paul Hancock. WWMPC would also like to take this opportunity to announce that the Emerald Societies for New York and Illinois have also officially come on board to lend their support to this Irish-American film. Here’s to a successful opening weekend!
World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles Police Emerald Society has come on board as a Premier Sponsor of our Irish-themed independent film, Red Roses and Petrol. Founded in 1992 as a non-profit, multi-agency organization, The Emerald Society’s stated objective is “fostering goodwill among the members of the numerous law enforcement communities in Southern California [and to] acknowledge the accomplishments and the dedication of American-Irish [men and women within those communities].” The Emerald Society is perhaps best known for its bagpipe and drum band, which performs at parades, weddings, Irish events, and funerals for fallen officers. The society is one of many similar organizations throughout the United States and we are very proud to have their support. To learn more, visit www.emeraldsociety.net.
