Before World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation acquired it for distribution, Red Roses and Petrol was a film festival favorite! The independent, Irish-American movie won first prize at the Avignon Film Festival; received runner-up kudos at the Westwood Film Festival; and was recognized at the AFIFest (the movie’s world premiere), the Deuville Film Festival, the Boston Irish Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and on the Toronto International Film Festival circuit.
