Red Roses and Petrol wouldn’t be the same without the memorable music that sets the film’s tone. The woman behind some of the tunes, Susanna Hoffs, performs with The Bangles — the 80s girl group with whom she had a string of hits — next month. The tour kicks off on Las Vegas’ famed Fremont Street on New Year’s Eve. Next they’re off to New Orleans where they will help celebrate Carnival at the Magical, Mystical Family Gras event along the Mississippi River from January 25-27, followed by a January 29 show at Baton Rouge’s legendary Varsity Theater in Louisiana. Finally, The Bangles are off to Austin, Texas, where they’ll sing at the famed La Zona Rosa venue on January 31.
